Welcome back to campus everyone! I hope you all were able to settle in and enjoyed your first week of classes. Back to school can only mean one thing: Time to get back in the air! The sun has been shining and the weather is great.
Our callout dates for this fall are as follows:
- Thursday, Sept 4th 7-8pm GRIS 180
- Wednesday, Sept 10th 7-8pm EE 270
- Thursday, Sept 11th 7-8pm EE 270
You only need to attend one callout. We have 3 just to make it easier to fit your schedule.
If you've never made a jump, don't worry... We'll show and tell you everything you need to know to get into the air for a fun skydive while working towards your USPA license. If you want more information about first jumps, click the First time link on the side.

We've finished our Spring '08 callouts with great success! All 3 dates went very well, with a total of about 25 people in attendance. We talked a lot about how you can make your first jump and some of the other exciting reasons to be apart of the club. A first time jumpers page has been written up to summarize some of the ways you can make your first skydive with the club. You can find the link in the left side-bar.
As for club dues, we will be collecting them starting next week in office hours. Feel free to stop by at any of the times listed to pay dues. Remember, just making your first jump makes up for the $10 due cost, and gets you all kinds of other benefits only available to club members. We will be finalizing our meeting schedule in the next coming days.
For those who want to get in the air ASAP... Safety day is approaching quickly. Anyone and everyone is encouraged to come hang out at the dropzone and learn about becoming a safe skydiver. New students will be able to commence jumping the weekend after safety day (April 12th). You'll need to contact George and Terry (The owners of the dropzone) at the following number to schedule your first jump:

Once the dropzone opens, we'll be out there jumping every weekend. So let's make the most of the warming weather! Thanks again to everyone who attended the callouts.
Spring '08 Callouts.

Spring callouts are just around the corner. I hope everyone is enjoying a good spring break and is looking forward to getting back in the air for some spring jumping!
Spring callouts are as follows:
- Tuesday, March 18th, LILY G126: 6:30PM - 8:00PM
- Wednesday, March 18th, LILY G126: 6:30PM - 8:00PM
- Thursday, March 19th, LILY G126: 6:30PM - 8:00PM
You only need to attend one of the callouts. We provide 3 as a way for people with conflicts to attend at least one of them. If you want to be at all 3, that's great too!
We'll be going over plans for this season of jumping, including package deals and other opportunities to get involved with lots of club events. Be sure to check out the Calendar page for details.
